Loaves & Fishes has offered the community a constant source of food and hope for 25 years.  More than ever in these challenging times, its services are both needed and appreciated by those unable to provide sufficient food for their families.



Pantry Service Highlights in FY 09


  1. •   Supplied over 1,750,000 pounds of food to over

     2,100 different households, providing nourishment

     to approximately 8,000 individuals


  1. •Provided 546 infants with baby food, formula & diapers


  1. •    Supplied breakfast assistance for 2,400 students in

In 2009, more than 1,000 new families have enrolled at the food pantry—a 55% increase from last year.


About half of the hungry served are children.
